Groups & Opportunities
This has often been said of our congregation in the heart of Fort Lupton. We witness this every Sunday, and throughout the week, as we nurture hope and love for others both here and around the world.
Come and see what God can do through you. Invite others. Dive in, and bring a friend to worship with you this weekend.
Being actively involved in a sacred community has proven benefits: Greater happiness, resilience, better focus, and longer lifespan to name a few. Getting to know others and serving others gives a person a proven sense of belonging while becoming Disciples for the transformation of the world.
Wednesday Bible Study meets each week, at 9:30 a.m. at the Church.
Newcomers are always welcome! We strive to learn more about our world, topics of the day, and the Christian Faith. We seek to expand our understanding of the scriptures and enrich our lives as followers of Jesus’ Way.
Fort Lupton United Methodist Church has a longstanding tradition of maintaining and supporting an Adult Choir.
The Choir currently practices in the church sanctuary on Wed. nights at 7 p.m. & performs an anthem during Offertory two Sundays of each month (usually the 1st and 3rd Sun.) from mid-September thru May and a musical before Easter each year.
Our goal is to glorify and praise the Lord and to inspire and encourage those attending the service in their walk with the Lord through the music we sing.
We are also the founders of the Community Choir that sings on Memorial Day to present a Patriotic musical honoring our Veterans, those who are currently serving in all branches of the Armed Forces and The Lord who inspired and led our forefathers to found this country. This choir begins practice immediately after Easter on the same night as the Sanctuary Choir, but begins at 8 p.m. and usually ends at 8:30 p.m.
We welcome all who love to sing and want to praise the Lord in song. Most of us are not sight readers and learn our parts through repetitive practice. We provide parts CDs and music to practice at home for most music we sing.
Please give me a call if you are interested in singing with either the FUMC Sanctuary Choir and/or the Fort Lupton Community Choir at 303-906-4396.
Sincerely,
Marilyn Bangert
Choir Director

When someone close dies it is normal to feel devastated physically, emotionally, and spiritually. It can be helpful, healing, and reassuring to share your journey with others who are also grieving. The loss may be recent or many years in the past.

Lunch Bunch is on hold for right now.
When it resumes it meets to share fellowship and share a meal.
We meet monthly, on every 3rd Wednesday @1:15 p.m.
All are welcome. We believe that knowing someone and being known by them is the heart of an authentic relationship. At Lunch Bunch, we talk about our lives, hopes, and dreams and encourage one another in our lives of faith.
Our church strives to go yearly on a weeklong mission trip. Some of the missions we have done are:
This year’s Bible verse was:
Tell me all about your faithful love come morning time, because I trust you. Show me the way I should go, because I offer my life up to you. Psalm 143:8 CEB
Are you ready to TRUST, SHOW, GO! If so, and would like information on upcoming mission trips, please call the church office at 303-857-2257.
The First United Methodist Church, Ft. Lupton, is blessed to have a praise team that consists of three instrumentalists and thirteen singers. The purpose of the praise team is to simply lead the congregation in song and praises to God. We chose a variety of contemporary music mixed with traditional hymns. The team of musicians and singers are very dedicated to this ministry.
We hold practices at 8:00 a.m. every Sunday morning.
Samaritan’s Purse Christmas Shoe Boxes are delivered all over the world in the areas where children do not receive much or anything at Christmas time. These boxes bring a lot of joy to those children, plus information about Christ. We collect the shoeboxes in the month of November.
Your shoe boxes represent more than smiles and laughter, they become Gospel opportunities that open doors to share the love of Jesus Christ with children and their families around the world.
There are 2 Adult Sunday School Classes:
